MOORE, Mr. Herbert E. "Herb," 57, of Goochland, Va. On Saturday, December 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, God spoke quietly to his son Herbert to tell him it's time to come home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Moore; and father, James Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Jason Tyler; one sister, Barbara Lawson; one brother, Edward W. Moore (Queen); two nieces, Patricia Moore and Lashawn Dockery (Quincey); two nephews, Dwayne Moore and Alphonzo Moore; one great-niece, Taitiana Brown; three great-nephews, Alphonzo Moore Jr., Ronald Moore and Darius Gear; and devoted relatives and lifetime friends. His remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. The family will receive friends at 12 noon, one hour prior to the celebration of his life on Saturday, December 19, 2009, 1 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Columbia, Va. Rev. Jackson officiating. Interment church cemetery.
