SMITH, Mr. Horace L., of 621 N.26th St., departed this life November 15, 2009. He is survived by his mother, Mary Smith; two brothers, Kermit E. and William L. Smith; three sisters, Gwendolyn D. Kenny (Dwight), Tina Smith Nelson (Adrian), Betty Smith Sanders (Richard); one aunt, Pecolia Smith Taylor (Jacob Jr.); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Rev. Frances Jones officiating. Rev. Adrian Nelson II, eulogist. Burial Oakwood Cemetery.
