Hugh MORRIS Obituary

MORRIS, Hugh Kyle, 64, of Blackstone, Va., died October 30, 2009. Mr. Morris was a retired foreman at Weaver Landfill. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Peggy Cox Morris; his daughters, Debora Daniel of Kenbridge and Regina Maitland of Blackstone; his granddaughters, Kristen Daniel of Kenbridge and Brandie Maitland of Blackstone; his great-grandson, Steven W. Clark II of Kenbridge; and his brothers, Johnny Morris of Crewe, Lee Morris of Victoria, and Willard Morris of South Hill. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Monday in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge on Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Lunenburg Girls Softball League in Kenbridge.
