Richard -- thank you for finding my phone number and calling me tonight to let me know about Jane's passing. I remember the fun times we all had together, the parties at the seminary student housing apartments and in your beautiful home. I loved working with Jane... I called her "Hane" (the" J" silent :)) she was a great nurse and a wonderful person ... Mine and Tino's thoughts will be with you - we'll keep in touch. Love you, Tino and Rebecca Ballesteros

Dick,
I just belatedly learned that Jane had died after her long and courageous battle with cancer. I remember her internal fortitude and grace. Thanks for mentioning me in the obituary. Please accept my sympathy to you and your family. Lewis

Sisson:
While I never met Jane, I know what a loving, caring and faithful husband you were. You stuck with Jane through better or worse. You maintained a positive attitude and took care of her for a long, long time. I'm proud of you for way you acted and the way you loved your wife. And I'm proud to say you're my lifelong friend.

To Richard and Emily, I had the great honor and pleasure of working with your wife and mother at Henrico Doctor's Hospital. Jane was a wonderful woman of grace and humility, style and intelligence. It was a blessing to have known her and I am truly sorry for your loss.

Jane and I met at a rooming house on Hermitage Road way back in 1969, and shortly thereafter we got an apartment together on the Boulevard. My future husband got an apartment elsewhere on the Boulevard with Jane's twin Rick. During those fun years, every man or boy who came into Jane's presence got a huge crush on her. Her beauty, intelligence, and sense of humor just made everyone love her. We will miss you, Jane, and remember you always. My love to Dick and Emily, Nan, Rick, and Robin and Rebecca.

Although I didn't know Jane well, I heard many kind things about her over the years, from my sister, Karen Kravitz. May love and healing surround your family at this time.

Dear Sisson Family,
I did not have the pleasure of knowing Jane, but felt a close connection to her through my good friend and co-worker Traci Anderson. Traci always spoke so fondly of her and was pleased to call her "friend." My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Be Blessed.
