TAYLOR, Jean Anne Wisely, 56, of 4745 East Gray Fox Circle, went to be with her Higher Power on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at her residence. Jean Ann was born in North Carolina on June 4, 1953. She was a 1971 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and graduated with a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Ruby Powers Wisely. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah M. Taylor of Goochland; two uncles, Russell Wisely and his wife, Lucy, of Staunton, Deane F. Powers and his wife, Glenna, of Grottoes; two aunts, Martha P. Scott of Waynesboro and Doris P. Borden of Grottoes. She also leaves behind special cousins, Steve and Beth Wisely, James Wisely, J. Kent Hite, Jeff Hite, Billy Borden, Susie Shreckhise; as well as other numerous cousins and relatives. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Main Street United Methodist Church by the Revs. Neil Hough and Wilfred M. Mayton. A private family burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will assemble at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes at 1 p.m. on the day of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 601 W. Main Street Waynesboro, Va. 22980. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory. This obituary may be viewed on line at www.reynoldshamrick funeralhomes.com.

Sarah, I will never forget our fun times during the Disney trips to Orlando that your mom and grandma so graciously made happen for us. I hope you embrace times like those forever.

Sarah, your mom will be missed by many, however, she is in a better place now, even though thats hard for us to fully understand at this time. You have been and will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if you need anything! Love, Marcy Norman Carter
