Ms. Karen,
My heartfelt sympathy is extended to you and your family in the passing of your mother and loved one. I know you'll miss her dearly for no one else can replace her smile, her laugh, her hugs or kisses. One of the greatest treasures of life is yours to behold forever, thats the legacy of love she left behind. As you share that legacy with family and friends in the days ahead you'll find that the pain of not having her with you will be gradually eased. Good memories last a lifetime, for the heart stores them and allows them to be released just when we need them most. May the love of our Lord and Savior forever strengthen and keep you all.
Love,

Karen,
I am very sorry for you loss. We have had many wonderful conversations regarding your Mom and reminiscing about your childhood. I found this poem that I hope you will like (I do not know who wrote it).
You Were My Mother and My Friend
You were my mother and my friend,
Which was unusual.
Somehow our characters still blend:
Your wisdom and my will.
I turned, and you were there for me;
I spoke, you understood.
I felt cared for, but also free;
You loved, and I was good.
I'm fortunate that I was born
To someone just like you;
I love you still. Though you are gone,
You live in what I do.
Love,
Danielle, David, McKenzie, David Jr., and Gabrielle
