Rip Mrs. Friedman, she was my favorite teach when I was in 3rd grade and one of the most kind hearted people I´ve ever met, she used to always give the class candy and tell us stories. Such a wonderful woman, may she rest in peace <3

Dear Friedmans,
It's not often you meet someone who is so gifted and vibrant as Jenny. Someone who makes a difference -- as she did for my son. While I am truly sad about her death, I feel honored to have known her and blessed that my son had such a good, caring teacher. She was an example for all of us. Much love,

I am so sorry for your loss and that I was not able to be with you and offer support the last month or so. Jenny was a wonderful person and lucky to have such a loving mother. It is hard to let her go, but know that she is in a pain-free and loving place and will always be in your heart.
Love,
Rhonda Gary

Jason, Josh, and Sam
Worry for her no more, she has made it home. God has blessed her to enter into her season. There is a song that says walk into your season; she has found her season of Joy. While the pain is fresh, the wound is raw know that your friends, family and loved ones are there to share in your sorrow and help you face tomorrow with out Jen.
I am so sorry for your loss I know the pain of losing a mother and time will help but the love of one another will heal the pain.
Keep the faith and press for the mark of the high calling and you will once again see your loved one.

Jenny, you will be missed by so many! I loved starting NFS with you and working on the 3rd grade team with you. I loved those years and looked forward to our morning chats outside the classroom door waiting for our kids. You always made me smile or laugh and boy, the peanut butter pie lives on in this family!! please know that your friendship, love and support will never be forgotten..you are a very special person. Those who had the pleasure to know you hopefully will take some of your advice and strength with them -- I know I will. My heart goes out to Jason, Josh, and Sam. I am so sorry for your loss!

Jason, Josh and Sam,
I met Jen in grad school. Jen had to be the most positive and pleasant person I've ever met. I'll never forget her kind words during a difficult time in my life. She never stopped talking about her family the entire time we were at school together. While I know she deeply missed you three during those times, I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet her at that time. Thank you for sharing her with us. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Friedman was such a special teacher to my son when he was in her thrid grade class (he is now in 8th grade) at Newington Forest. She always had a smile and made him feel special. Only a person who truly loves what they are doing could do that. May God wrap His loving arms aound her family and give them the love and strength they need. I feel sorry for the kids that won't be able to know how great, kind, and loving person she was. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

We were so sorry to hear about Jenny's passing. Our memory of Jenny was when our daughter attended 3rd grade at Rural Point Elementary in Hanover County. Our daughter is disabled and had Jenny as a regular ed teacher. Well, this was a wonderful year! She embraced our daughter as if she gave birth to her...it was amazing! She loved to go to school everyday! We were blessed, and knew it from the first day of school.
To this day she will tell you that Miss. Cooper was her favorite teacher....and she just graduated at the age of 21....how wonderful that Jenny was a part of her great achievement!
God bless your family and know she was very loved!

Jen worked with me when she served as a Mentor teacher in the Marymount PDS program. She was a true master teacher, and an inspiration to our graduate students. She was a shining example of how to teach with heart, soul, intellect, and wit. We are all so fortunate to have known her. I'm so sorry for your (and our) loss.
