To the Gaiters Family, I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Father. In the sorrow, I rejoice at the spunk, vibrancy and committment to the community that Mr. Gaiters showed. He always, from the Carver Area Civic Improvement League meetings to seeing him in the grocery store to seeing him transitioning with his WWII verterans hat, has been a strong, quiet, upstanding gentlemen. He definitely represented, well, the old guard where 'class' really mattered. You all's Father was a great man and quietly made you stand up straight, shoulders back!! God bless you all during this time and may his smile live forever in your memories,

love,

As my Dad also just went home to the Lord this past March 10th, I offer my heartfelt prayers to the Gaiters Family. Jerry was the ideal neighbor and community activist. His smile and quick wit was a blessing to all who reside in Hartshorn Townhouses. He will truly be missed by everyone who ever met him!!! May God give you a front row in that big parade, Jerry.
