Dear Family of Joe Paxson,
I used to attend Stony Point, and Joe was very dear to me. I happened to learn of his war experience one Sunday when I noticed he was wearing a small lapel pin I recognized as the Bronze Star. As a fellow military member, though much younger than he, we shared a special bond of camaraderie and friendship. I didn't hear of his passing until after the memorial service, but would like to visit his grave; can you give me info about it? My very deep sympathies for your loss. Joe was a true American hero and I will always be grateful I knew him. My phone is (804) 503-1180, email [email protected].

I am very sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Joe at Bristol Steel for many years. Very wise man and very kind man. He reminded me a of a sweet teddy bear. Your family will be in my prayers. Sincerely,
Sue (Tuck) Bradley

Believe it or not, I was thinking of Mr. Paxson the other day. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Joe at Bristol Steel in the office until his retirement. I much admired his abundent wisdon. Vicki Southward
