Joyce Mosher Obituary

Published by Bliley's Funeral Home Central Chapel on Nov. 20, 2009.
MOSHER, Joyce Noble, the daughter of Theodore and Bessie Noble, passed away November 18, 2009. She was born December 3, 1928, in Geneva, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents; and is survived by her brother, Roger Noble (wife, Carol) of Buena Vista, Colo.; her husband, Lester Mosher; daughter, Doreen Louderback (husband, Terry) of Richmond; son, Douglas (wife, Nancy) of Oakland, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was the love of her husband's life, and they had just celebrated their 59th anniversary on October 21, 2009. Joyce was a dedicated mother of her children. She was an accomplished musician who played the piano and organ at her church as a teenager, and the clarinet in her high school band and orchestra. In her later years, she became an avid genealogist, tracing her roots back to the Plantagenets, and through her perseverance and skill she qualified for 15 different Genealogical Societies. Joyce will be missed by all of her many dear friends and relatives. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 21, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Bliley's- Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
