June Cockman Obituary

COCKMAN, June, 91, of Carthage, N.C., died on October 10, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Wendel and husband, Billy; granddaughters, Beth Smith and husband, Luke, Kelly Horne and husband, Bob; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Henry and Samuel. For almost two years, "June Bug" has lived in Richmond and had excellent care at the McGuire VA Medical Center by the loving, caring and devoted staff on 1P and many wonderful volunteers. Service and interment will be in Carthage, N.C.

Dear Barbara and Family,
Guy and I want you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. You are such a humble servant for the Lord, and have taken such wonderful care of your Daddy. I know you will cherish the time spent with him and will love the memories of him which will last forever. God's Blessings to you and your family.

Barbara,
Although I didn't really meet your father, I got to know of him through the beautiful stories of his stay at McGuire VA Medical Center which you shared with me. I'm glad you got the opportunity to spend some quality time with him. Those are the memories that will last you forever. Tim and I will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Mr. June Cockman has been such a pleasure to take care of. He bought laughter and joy to so many. Will miss you my friend. Rest now untill we meet again. Barbara may our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Keeping you in my prayers.
