Funeral Services, 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Beulah Baptist Church, Bennett.
Officiating, Dr. Neal Jackson.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Lois Ann was born in Randolph County and was a longtime resident of Moore County. She was previously employed with Moore County Schools as a secretary, where she worked for 33 years. She was also a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Bennett. Lois Ann loved her flowers and enjoyed gardening and going on beach trips with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Clarence and Faye Evelyn Comer Caviness and sister-in-law, Pat Caviness.
Survivors: husband, Jimmy Cockman of the home, daughter, Jennifer Albright and husband, Jay, of Bennett, sister, Lorraine Leonard and husband, Mitch, of Timberlake, brothers, Windell Caviness, of Concord, Leo Caviness and wife, Alice, of Robbins.
Mrs. Cockman will lie in repose on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 12:00 until 5:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home.
The family would like to express a special thanks to First Health Hospice for the care that they showed Mrs. Cockman during her illness.
The family will recieve friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
