I miss talking with Karen at our Dungee reunions. I looked forward to seeing her. I also remember her mother, cousin Clyde Gainey, and when she passed. Karen was my contemporary. My father was Roger Benton Dungee, Sr, and my uncle, John (Jack), whose desire to bring family members together started the Dungee Reunion in 1975. Merry Christmas, and Love to all of the extended Dungee Family, Adrienne Dungee Felton

I can still see her smiling face. Ms. Gainey was my teacher at Linwood Holton and I will miss her. She was a wonderful teacher who loved her students and had time for them and their parents. Now she is smiling in Heaven. I will always think of her and will miss her.

Karen, you were the epitome of a dedicated hard-working teacher. You are the model of which every teacher should be. You were very professional and cared deeply about your students. Your smiling face and pleasant demeanor will be missed here at Linwood Holton Elementary School. Thank you for the opportunity to work closely with you during the 2008-2009 school year.

Dear loved cousins,
I can see Karen's face as I write this. She was smiling the last time we spoke, about three years ago. I'm shocked, saddened, and thinking of you all. Please know that Karen will be remembered--and greatly missed .
Love and prayers,
Adrienne
