MASTON, Katie Parrish "Aunt Kate," entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Envoy at the Meadows Nursing Home in Goochland, Va. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life one sister, Pearl P. Randolph; three brothers, Andrew Parrish of Remington, Va., Herbert Parrish Sr. and Curtis Parrish (Alberta) of Goochland. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Maston; and her parents, Ora and Charlie Parrish; two sisters and six brothers. The village that she helped raise includes 36 nieces and nephews, (two devoted, Karen R. Brown and Patricia A. Randolph); 61 great-nieces and great-nephews, 33 great-great-nieces and nephews and three great-great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, one Ellen S. Ware, that always showed her compassion and many friends. Remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, where funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, at 2 p.m. Elder Darnell Randolph officiating. Interment Parrish Family Cemetery.
