Lois Catogni Obituary

CATOGNI, Lois Wilkins, age 81, of Bon Air, died December 19, 2009. She was the widow of David A. Catogni Jr. She is survived by a son, Donald E. Catogni; two daughters, Nancy C. Adickes and Sue C. Hinkle; and six grandchildren, Traci Catogni-Whitley, Donald E. Catogni Jr., Joshua F. Catogni, Dawn M. Cothran, Joey E. Cothran, and Caroline E. Hinkle. Mrs. Catogni was a retired secretary for the Treasury Department of the State of Virginia, a member of Bermuda Hundred Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution, a member of the Lee Chapter of the Daughters of Confederacy, and also a volunteer for the Hunter Homes at the McGuire Veterans Hospital. She was a longtime member of St. Edward's Catholic Church choir. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be said Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at the St. Edward's Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, N.Y. 10305.
