LUCILLE TAYLOR Obituary

TAYLOR, Lucille Kelly, 92, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Taylor; and daughter, Carolyn Taylor Walters; and is survived by her sister, Maude Ancarrow; three grandchildren, as well as several great-grandchildren. Lucille was a longtime member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Mechanicsville Chapter No. 138 O.E.S. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., with an Eastern Star Memorial Service beginning at 7 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Road, where services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Interment Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mechanicsville Chapter No. 138 O.E.S., P.O. Box 294, Mechanicsville, Va. 23111.
