LuEllen Martin

MARTIN, LuEllen Pappas, 52, of Mechanicsville, Va., left this world for a better place on Thursday, December 10, 2009. LuEllen leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, William A. Martin; her daughter, Allison Marie Taylor; her mother, Peg Pappas; her brothers, Steven F. Pappas and his wife, Maureen, Christopher M. Pappas and his wife, Dianne, and John M. Pappas; her sisters, Eileen Poole and her husband, Clyde, Trudi Dickert and her husband, Tommy, Anne Petera and her husband, Ronnie, and Vanessa McLane; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Evangel T. Pappas; and her brother, James T. "Buddy" Pappas. LuEllen loved the water, especially Sting Ray Point and the peacefulness it brought her. She loved music and she loved to dance. We will remember her dancing and how full of life she was. The family will receive friends at Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2009 and a celebration of life service will take place there on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations to an education fund for LuEllen's daughter, made payable to American Funds, reference: FBO Allison Marie Taylor, Mark A.
