Margaret B. BRIMER

BRIMER, Margaret B., 80, of Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Brimer. She was born on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and was the daughter of the late William Howard and Anna C. Bowe. She was a former employee of Sears & Roebuck Co. and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a dedicated member of Highland United Methodist Church, The Joy Club and Sears Retirement Group. She is survived by her son, Douglass Ford and wife, Barbara; her daughter, Linda J. Holley and fianc‚, William Cottee; four grandchildren, Kim, Wendy, Michelle and Kenny; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Alyssa, Hannah, Rachel, Kamryn, Reyna, Ryan and Juliana; sister, Sarah Taylor; brother, Frank Bowe of Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 at Highland United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E.
