Having just found out about Margaret's passing, the PTA moms of Elms Road Elementary in Swartz Creek, Michigan wish to pass on our prayers and comfort to the family. Margaret was a wonderful "PTA popcorn mom" when she lived here and her cheerfulness and friendliness will live on in our memories of her.

The Uhlmeyers were always a second family to me and welcomed me as one of their own. Margaret, then of course was like a sister all those years ago. Whether it was playing games, swimming, fishing, picking on her in the school hallways or scouting for Arbs at the dump in the woods, she was always plenty of fun and a great sport. For Mom and Dad and the rest of your wonderful family, my deepest condolences for the loss of Margaret and my hopes that every day draws a memory or two that brings a smile as big as hers.

"God the good creator of all things, in his infinite power and wisdom, doth govern all creatures and things, from the greatest even to the least, by his most wise and holy providence"
Behind a seeming frowning providence he hides a smiling face. Impossible words to many, but these words shall be the only substance of lasting comfort to the grieving. Mankind upon death, especially tragic death(which is the present case), usually tries to speak words to the silver lining of the situation. They attempt to comfort usually with trite words which ultimately bring no lasting comfort, because they can't, for there is no power or authority to back up such words. Therefore no lasting comfort is brought to a grieving family. Like Job's friends (see the account of the life of Job in the Bible) they speak when often they should remain silent. In light of this we will instead stand with you with our hands over our mouths, and shall use our fingers to point you toward the scriptures to the only one who can comfort, "The God of all comfort" (see 2Corinthians 1:3,4)
Most sincerly,

Dear Jones Family,
I was saddened and shocked to learn of Margaret's passing. She was one of my favorite "Saturday regulars" in the Three Bears Gift Shop at MCV. My daughter and I always looked forward to talking to her about many various things - but most especially about children and the joys of parenthood!
Please know that her love for her family was obvious to even us who only knew her briefly. I will always remember her for her friendly smile and fantastic spirit!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

You were my laughter on weekends. As I sit at work today your presence is missed. Toya and I can't sing songs the same. We don't have our silly loud voice to lead us. You were truly a Jewel and friend to many. I will miss seeing Gracie grow up here at the hospital. I will forever miss you and love you. I can truly rejoice because you are with our Lord now.-love Nikki
