I heard about Mrs. Menges death and unfortunately the funeral was to be when I was out of town. She taught me Sunday School in the old courthouse in the early days of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church. We always loved to see her at significant Yorkminster events in later years. She was a wonderful lady.

Martin,
I was very sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. My memories of her go back to the days, some 50 years ago, when you and I played Little League Baseball and she was such an energetic fan of the game. Our prayers are with you and the rest of the Menges family.

Postie,

I'm still here in the tropics, and decided to read the online version of the Gazette. I'm so sorry to hear about Mom Menges. She was a Lovely Woman. She is having a Great Time now, rejoicing in Heaven. However, I know you, Martin, Charlie and Louise will miss her dearly.

I was so sorry to hear about Aunt Margaret. I am so thankful for having the opportunity to know her. She truly brought joy to everyone around. I can only hope to live as long as she has. Losing someone is never easy but knowing all they have done, the memories will last forever. She is not alone - I am sure Sammy is there to greet her. Postie, you deserve a medal of honor for all you have done for Aunt Margaret. She was lucky to have you. Always here if you need to talk. HUGS! Love, Chris & Brian
