Oh Mom, I can't believe it's been a year since you left me here. I never thought the time would come...some how I thought you and Dad were different and that you would always be here. You are so special that I guess I didn't think you were mortal in the sense that you had to play by the rules and could only stay on the earth for a limited amount of time. I miss you more than words can say, I ride by and wave at you and Dad everyday. There are so many things I've wanted to share with you or tell you but you're not here. I tell you anyway, because I believe the bond is so strong between Mother and Child that it is a forever connection. I feel you near me sometimes, if only I could hug you one more time. A piece of my heart broke when you and Dad had to go. That peice can never be repaired, only comforted. I hope I learn how to find that comfort because I know you wouldn't want me to be so alone and sad. I love you today on the one year mark since you went to heaven, I will love you forever and pray that I will be with you some day. God, I miss you so very much! Your "Rib", Karen

Dear Family,
We were sorry to read of the deaths of my Aunt Peggy and Uncle Ken. Although we have not been in contact with our Virginia relatives, we understand the magnitude of your loss.

Dear Yeomans Family,
My Mom & Dad, Ann & Bob Mongell, were great friends with your parents back in the days they lived in Manchester. Your family and ours shared many great times together. I know that the 4 of them had wild and crazy times, at least from the stories they told! Mom was just talking about them this past weekend and laughing about old times. I am so very sorry to hear of their passing. Take care of each other.

So sorry to hear of the loss of first, Uncle Kenny, and now, Aunt Peggy. Despite the distance between us all, we shared some pretty fond memories and good times when we could all find the time to get together. From Uncle Kenny's infamous "Hi,Boy..." greeting to Aunt Peggy's sweet southern drawl when she would say, "Let's have a highball", there was always good cheer when the two of them were around! Certainly they're enjoying their time together once again - along with family and friends that were eagerly waiting to greet them!

Sincere best wishes...

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there... I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry—
I am not there... I did not die...

I am so sorry I cant be there with you at this very sad time. I have wonderful memories of Aunt Peggy, Uncle Kenny, Gram and Gramp on Lilac St. They are all at peace now.
Love you all,

Cousin Dawn
