FORD, Marjorie Winston, 84, of Richmond, departed this life on November 12, 2009. Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Ford Sr.; four children, Robert Jr. (Arlene), Bernice, Michael (Carol) and Alphonso "Chucky" (Yvonne) Ford; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Thelma Pretlow, Florence Harris, Ruth Anderson (Palmer), and Vernell Holmes; nieces and nephews; and a host other relatives and friends. Mrs. Ford was a faithful member of Westwood Baptist Church were she served as Deaconess. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where the family will receive friends on Monday, November 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17 at Fifth Baptist Church, 1417 W. Cary Street. Dr. A. Michael Black officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Westwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 911 Glenburnie Rd., Richmond, Va. 23226. Online guest book at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.
