When I remember Mel, I always think about how he loved to joke and have a good time. God must be having a ball with him in heaven. He suffered so long and now he is at peace. My prayers and thoughts are with his entire family.

Jackie and the Jarratt Families; I was sorry to hear of Mel's death. He was a good friend to Calvin and I and good neighbor. He and Calvin have worked together a lot in the Ruritan Club and Farm Bureau over the years. I will miss not seeing him around. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Sincerely, Lena G Richardson.
