Minnie HADEN Obituary

HADEN, Minnie W., 87, of Goochland, died October 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. Haden Jr.; two sisters, Annie Lourie Fitch and Barbara June Clark. She is survived by one son, Samuel D. Haden III (Mary); one grandson, Paul Haden; two brothers, Nick and Buck Ware; and one sister, Miriam Tucker. The family will receive friends at the Norman Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Mizpah Christian Church in Fife, Va. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Co. #4 Fire & Rescue or Mizpah Christian Church.

So sorry to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mr. And Mrs. Haden were great friends to my parents and also wonderful to me growing up. Still remember hanging out in Haden's store. They are both missed.
