Dear Russ,
I just received my UMass magazine and saw the incredibly sad news about Pam. My heart is so heavy for you. Many years have passed since our UMass days, but I have often thought about all of my old friends. I can still picture Pam's beautiful face clearly. I'm hoping you will remember me. Please send my love to Sharman. I remember her with such great affection from when I was a counselor on the third floor in Field. With love to your whole family,

Dear Russ, Rachel and Daniel,
I am simply in shock knowing that Pam is no longer with us. She was truly an inspiration and a total pleasure to know. Her quiet dignity, thoughtfulness, beatiful smile, and love towards her family are what we all wish to have in our lives. Watching her "daven" made us believe in all that is part of our tradition.
Our sincerest condolences.
We are sending our prayers and hopes to you. Her memory is a true blessing and may she rest in peace.

Russ, Rachel, and Dan..... We are heartbroken now....but, how lucky we all were. Pam was our own special treasure loaned to us for a short time in this lifetime . She was our very own precious jewel---a one-in-a-million wife, mother, and sister to each one of us. Her sparkling light will go on shining forever in the memories that she left behind. She left such a big hand print on our hearts that we will never forget her. Your love and support kept her alive longer than any medicine ever could. Thank you for that..... She lived for your love. Bless you all and may Pam's memory be a blessing to each one of you. With much love to my sister's very caring family....kisses and hugs from Sharman

Pam was one of the most talented efficient, and pleasant staff members that we have ever had at the Senior Center. She wrote poetry, designed beautiful cards, and wrote biographies of most of the members for the newsletter. We will greatly miss her.

I worked with Pam for more than fifteen years in her capacity as Director of Rachel's Table in Springfield, Mass. She was an efficient manager of this wonderfully effective program, a fierce advocate for the hungry. Pam had energy, enthusiasm and an ever-present joie de vivre. My heartfelt condolences to her family. I am profoundly saddened by her passing.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Finer Family.
Pam was a lovely woman who faced a long and difficult struggle with courage and in her own unique way.
I will remember Pam's enthusiasm when we first met and she noticed my Westhampton ring and she showed me her pendant and began to tell me all about Rachel attending UR.
Pam touched many lives and she will be remembered and missed. I pray that your family will be comforted by many special memories of a remarkable woman.

Oh Pam,
Perhaps you are needed in heaven to help all of those here on earth. That's the only explanation for you being taken so early. Rest now and hurt no more. I will always think of our times together during services when you would explain the parshat to me or point out something interesting in the commentary.
Our love of rocks will go on, my children even look for heart shapes wherever we are! My daughter remembers the pomegranites that you wore on your clothes.
Thank you for entering our lives and making our world a better place.
