The EHS Class of '83 is very sad to see yet another of our classmates pass on at such an early age. The thing I remember the most about Paul was his persistent smile and all the good laughs we had at school and in the Driver's Ed car. I'll always remember that big laugh from the back seat - as I got a wheel on the loose gravel coming out of my driveway on the first day in the Driver's Ed car. The teacher let us bring our own music to listen to in the car. Paul decided to test the limits with an AC/DC 8-track tape. The teacher didn't like it - but she tolerated it. Next time "Back in Black" or "You Shook Me All Night Long" come on the radio - I'll definitely think of Paul.

Lee and June, I am so sorry to hear about Paul. It's always sad when someone so young passes away. I remember a lot of fond memories with Paul and will always remember the good times. I realize I have not kept in touch as much since I moved from Tappahannock but the memories are always there.
Take care,
Love,
Anne Marie Brooks-Watt (Eriks's little sister)

Even though I have not seen Paul since we graduated from Essex High School, I will always remember his michievious ways and his witty sense of humor in several of our classes. His wit usually got us in trouble but we sure had fun laughing!! LOL.
To the family, I would like to express my sympathy and condolences. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
