Brother, Larry D. Giles
February 3, 2011
I will remember Ralph most for his good and kind heart, his playfulness, and his ability to take life easy. The things that would fret others he could easily push aside with a hearty laugh or a great big hug. During his illness, he was especially heroic, kind of like a sailboat captain. Though he loved his family and his many friends, he sailed his boat according to his unique and happy conscience, filling his heart with simple things like clean wheels, good fresh air, and great big armfuls of sunshine and courage.

God Bless You Ms. Polly and Family,
We are very saddened to hear of the loss of OUR loved one Ralph. You were not the only ones to love him. You know your family are like our family. We shared several good times on Letcher Avenue. Even though it may not feel like it, GOD is STILL on our side. We may not feel HIS presence, but HE is here! We love you and do not hesitate to call on us for anything. We are only a phone call away.We will continue to pray for strength and guidance, but hold on to those precious memories, as on Letcher Avenue, and a few other memories. Don't give up! God has your backs and so do we!
With love from Sister(Marian), Uncle "Tiny", Gail, Angela, Repanzel, Dee Dee, Tee Tee, Ebony, Trucksy, Notisha and the rest of the gang! You know it is too many of us to name:).

TO MY BROTHER
Ralph, I have walked with you from the beginning and you have taught me well my brother. Although I am so surprised that you left me like this all I can say is your legacy will live on inside of me like a roaring tide splashing against the seashore and I will pass it on, your kindness, caring and giving heart will I cherish and never be forgotten.

Laverta,
I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. It may not seem like it now, but just remember, "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal." I will keep you in my prayers as I continue to look to the hills from whence cometh all of our help.

My heart is sad that Ralph had to leave us so soon. We must lean and depend on God to give us strength and joy as we say good-bye. Praying for you all!
