I remember the day at Capital Square in Richmond, when we were on our lunch break and met up with Ralph Holmes and Hart Long. That was the first day you met your husband to be.
I remember how Ralph would sit in his easy chair (in the corner of the kitchen and living room) telling jokes while we gabbed and giggled in the kitchen over a pot of coffee. I have so many memories of the two of you over the years and will forever treasure them all.
I wish so much I could have been by your side at his Memorial service.
I will continue to keep you in my prayers and send my love to you and the boys.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am a very close friend of Bob, and though never had the privilege to spend time with Dr. Holmes, have heard many stories of his wit and humor. Knowing Bob, has given me much joy in life. And as they say the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, I can only imagine what a wonderful person Dr. Holmes must have been to have in your lives. Prayers and warmest wishes to all the family and friends.

Beverly, I lived next door to you on Enslow Ave and am Monnie's age. I have often wondered what happened to the Cosby family. I am so sorry that you lost your husband, but it appears that you have made a nice family of your own now, and I know those boys will be there for their mom at this tiime. Blessings, Dot Duvall Moore
