John,Mary Ann and Ray,
I am so very sorry to hear of Rays passing. He was my only living Uncle and I was so blessed that I was able to connect with him after so many years.
His letters over the past seven years have given me such joy.
I will miss him.
God Bless You All

Mary Ann, Vic, and Chris,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Pam Walsh called to tell me the sad news. Dave and I were not able to leave MA on Tuesday, because of the weather. But know that you were and are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family:
Sorry for the loss of your father. I have found memories of his work at St. Philip’s.
Multiple generations of students, and parishioners witnessed his dedication, and hard work.
I recall the smell of his tobacco products in the basement of the school, and being taught to respect the school property and grounds because “Mr. Belhumeur works so hard to keep it nice for us”.
Your father would plant hundreds if not thousands of seeds and nurture them through the winter months in vacant class rooms, and every spring the grounds of the Church and school would come to life with color.
Just a few months ago, I was opening the door to walk into Church when I noticed how weathered the stain was, I thought to myself of the pride your father put into maintaining those doors.
Every Easter when I see the flowers bloom, I think of your father’s hard work. It is quite fitting that he be laid to rest from the Church that he worked so hard to maintain. Especially with the Church being decorated for Christmas.
I will say a prayer for your father, you all should be very proud knowing that his hard work meant so much to so many people.

Ray, my condolences on the death of your dad.I just happen to see it in the paper. Even though I haven't seen or talk to you in many many years, when I saw the name it brought back fond memories when we were friends in grade school and some of us would walk together from First Ward school to St Phillips for catechism and there was your mom always waiting to give us a snack when we stopped by your house first. I just remember both of them being 2 of the nicest people.

Dear John, Mary Ann and 'Little Ray':
My most sincere condolences on the death of your Dad. He wrote me a Christmas Card to which I responded with a letter - he was concerned about me - as always so thoughtful of me. Most certainly he is with HIS Catherine and Monsignor who, I'm sure, met him with the greeting "Michelangelo" - Monsignor's pet name for Ray.
I will remember him at the Mass I attend on Thursday for the repose of his soul.
Love,
Katie Carnahan
