We are saddened to hear of Ray's passing. The Board of Directors of the National Association of USS LCS (L) 1-130 send their deepest sympathy to Ray's family. You can very proud of Ray's service on the USS LCS (L) 43 during WWII. Ray's presence will be missed by all his LCS shipmates. Raymond's name will be placed on our "Roll Call of Honor" and read at our Memorial Service during our up coming reunion in Buffalo, NY in August 2010. A carnation will be placed in a wreath in his honor.
Farewell old friend and may you have fair winds and following seas.

LaMyra, to you and your family,
One of the pleasures of loving you was to have known Ray. He was one of the kindest and gentle men I have ever known. Your heart will always carry him in a special place, but now you can celebrate his life.
God Bless you and your family now and in all of the days to come.
Love,
Ernie and Audrey

Lamyra, Ellen and Charlie,
I am thinking of you all at the very difficult time. Pops was the best. He truly loved all of you so much. I will always remember his easy smile and his love of music. He may be gone but never forgotten. I am praying for you all.
