I decidec to look up Red Hawk and Black Hawk as I havent seen them in years. Twice a yr. In rancaucous nj. My son (blackbelt) and granddaughter named Kaiya. He would dedicate song to her.
Him and Black Hawk 2 of the nicest gentlemen you could ever meet. Always remembered us and spent time catching up.
I cherish my cds and he will remain in my heart. Sympathy albeit very late to family. I didnt know.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Red Hawk. We have known him for 25 years and he was such a special person. He gave our daughter Christine a special bird feather when she was very young and to this day-about 20 years later, she still has it and cherishes it. Red Hawk gave all of us his gift of music, story telling, historian, and song. He was truly magical when he was in front of an audience. God Bless him. He will truly be missed.

I will not stand by your grave and weep
you are not there, you did not sleep.
You are a thousand winds that blow.
You are diamond glints on snow.
You are the sunlight on ripened grain.
You are the gentle autumn rain.
When I awaken in the morning's hush
you are the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
You are the soft stars that shine at night.
I will not stand at my grave and cry;
you are not there, you did not die.
Aho!
