Richard SIPE Obituary

SIPE, Richard Theodore, 79, of Richmond, Va., was finally called home to the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Mr. Sipe was honorably discharged from the USAF, and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He retired from the FAA after 35 years of service. Ted leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dorothy Jane Hunter; daughter, Susan May; son, Kenneth William (Joan); three brothers, George Sipe (Nancy), James Sipe (Carol) and Donald Sipe (Carol). Also surviving are five grandchildren, Taylor Estevez, Ashley Sipe, Josie Sipe, Mary and Michael George in addition to a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where a funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday. Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
