Mark Sipe

Mark Sipe was born on March 2, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan. He was thoughtful, engaged, and always interested in current events. Mark paid close attention to politics, followed the news carefully, and had a strong, well-considered opinion that he didn't mind sharing.
Mark and Charlene met in high school and married July 23, 1994. Their relationship was built on history, loyalty, and a deep understanding of one another.
Mark retired from working in real estate and residential building. He closely followed the stock market and was a devoted football fan. He valued good conversation and wasn't afraid of a thoughtful debate.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene; his father, Donald; his brother, Kevin (Nikki), his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Charles Earles (Sharon) and Daniel Earles (Jen); and his nieces and nephews, Aaron and Amanda, Kevin, Madolyn, Grace, Jackson; and great-uncle to Henry, Theo, Eloise, Iris, and Lily, and Godfather to Matt, Kyle, Shelby, Greg, Rich, and Jessica.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Sipe, and his parents-in-law, Charles and Ethel Earles.
Mark showed love quietly and consistently and valued friendship deeply. He maintained close ties with several lifelong friends who stayed in touch with him over the years, relationships he truly appreciated.
Mark will be remembered for his intelligence, steady presence, and his deep loyalty to the people he loved. He lived with intention and left a lasting mark on those who knew him.
The family honors the memory of Mark and invites you to visit and share memories Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Mt. Clemens. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday with 11:00 a.m. visiting. Burial will be in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
