Sarah Marie Jelinek-Harvey

Sarah Marie Jelinek-Harvey, 40, of Port Huron, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Sarah was born on April 29, 1985, in Rochester to Christopher and the late Mary Beth.
She married Tadd Harvey on September 1, 2005, in Port Huron, Michigan. They spent 10 years together before his passing on February 16, 2016.
Sarah had a special passion for horseback riding, where she felt most at peace, and she carried that same sense of freedom and happiness into everything she did. She loved music and concerts, always appreciating the energy of live bands and the connection music brings. She also found comfort and creativity in cooking and gardening, expressing her care for others through home-cooked meals and nurturing growing things with patience and love.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Tehya; boyfriend, Matt Wrinkle; father, Christopher; sisters Carrie Lovell and Annie Jelinek; nieces and nephews, Erik, Alexander, Skylar (Alex), Oliver, Elliott, Finnegan, and Violet; and great-nephew, Cillian.
The family honors the memory of Sarah and invites you to visit and share memories Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with scripture services at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville with 10:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. James Arwady will officiate. Burial will be in St. Phillip Neri Cemetery, Columbus, Michigan.
