Ruth Moore Obituary

MOORE, Ruth Elizabeth, of Melbourne, Fla., and formerly of Chesterfield, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Gordon Lee Moore; sons and daughters-in-law, Gordon II and Flita Moore, Thomas and Stephanie Moore; sisters, Lindy Smith, Sue Mae Newton and Brenda Renshaw; brothers, Arthur Huband, Sonny Huband, Max Huband and Billy Huband; grandchildren, Gordon Moore III, Richelle Lierman, Thomas Moore II, Christina Cheek and Lisa Moore; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Susie Huband; brothers, Charles Huband and Richard Huband; and a sister, Mary "Ginny" Lindsey. Family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. Monday. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to your local SPCA.
