Sadie Phillips

PHILLIPS, Mrs. Sadie A., of Richmond, departed this life April 14, 2010. She was preceded in death by one sister, Emily Frances Davis. She is survived by her husband, Charles Phillips; one stepson, Clifton D. Phillips (Tracy); four sisters, Doris L. Harris, Elder Yolanda Fox, Rolanda Lofton, and Marian Davis-Branch; one aunt, Evelyn Jones; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Lee and Rose Phillips; one brother-in-law, Ted Phillips; and other relatives and friends. She retired from MCV, where she worked at the Nelson Clinic for approximately 16 years. She also worked at the Jefferson Manufacturing Company. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Rev. Anthony Pearson officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
