SHIRLEY MOUNTS

MOUNTS, Shirley A., age 82, of Richmond, Va., widow of Slater C. Mounts, former pastor of Jahnke Road Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Surviving is her beloved family, daughter and her husband, Susan and James Redmon of Portsmouth, Va., daughter, Sharon Mounts of Richmond; son and wife, Scott and Tracy Mounts of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Randy Sparks and wife, Angela, Kristin Sanderlin and husband, James, Jamie Rowley, Greg Latham and Sean Mounts; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Slater Sparks, Bryce and Brett Sanderlin; also surviving are her sister and her husband, Mary Lou and Donald Hickman of Dravosburg, Pa.; sister-in-law, Kitty Milligan; two aunts, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mounts was a member of Jahnke Road Baptist Church. Her remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Jahnke Road Baptist Church. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Va.
