To the family of Mrs. Thelma C. Cosby:
Please know that our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you at this time. May the Lord God provide you with peace and comfort. Mrs. Cosby was a woman of truth and her life was a vibrant one.
She touched many souls along the way and even though she is no longer with us in the earthly realm it is good to know that she has become one of our angelic hosts.

Devin, Haywood, and the Cosby Family,
Always remember this: Your grandmother is not gone, she is just in a new form. She is not absent from your life, but she IS absent from the pain that she once felt. Imagine her in Heaven, laughing and doing all the things she loved to do, but could not in her last days. The memories and lessons that she shared with you and your family are but a legacy and a manual to guide you all through a successful life. In each of her family members she left a precious glow and part of her that you will not find in anyone else, so spending time with your family and sharing the experiences you had with her will only comfort you and remind you that she is all around you.
I am praying for you as you face these hard times, but always know, I am just a call or text away.
With Love and Sympathy,
Andrias J. White

To the Cosby children and family,
I give thanks to God for allowing my life to be touched by the love of Mrs. Cosby. God gave her to us for a season and I am richer in my spiritual walk because she lived. I grieve with you, my heart is broken, but to know that she is at rest, a rest so well deserved, I celebrate that she is free from the cares of this world and has gone to her eternal home with Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. To my dear daughter-in-law, Zelma, my son, Haywood and grandson, Haywood III, my prayers are with you and may God comfort and strengthen you in this hour. May you know that the precious memories of Mrs. Cosby will be in my heart always. I am so grateful that I was given this wonderful and blessed opportunity to know her. To know her and to be embraced by her love was truly a gift from God.
Love you,
Mother Watkins
