Thomas Brown

BROWN, Thomas McClennon, 61, departed this life suddenly on November 17, 2009 at his residence in Richmond, Va. He is survived by his devoted wife, Geraldine L. Brown of the home; two children, Jasma Adkins (Eric) and Tilson Hargrove; two grandchildren, Justin and Erica; six sisters, Fannie Alexander, Gloria Spears (James), Ruby Jackson (Rudolph), Alfreda Freeman (Richard), Valerie Brown and Cynthia Simmons (Sterling); two brothers, Lawrence R. Brown (Maggie) and James H. Brown; his faithful dog, Ebony, of the home; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, 1 p.m., at the New R.Z.U.A. Headquarters and Conference Center, 2504 Rocky Branch Road, La Crosse, Va. 23950. Rev. Earl Walker officiating, with Military Burial Service following in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 p.m. until hour of funeral. Mr. Brown may be viewed at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. Feggins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
