Valerie Fleming

FLEMING, Valerie Ann "Valnuni," left to be with her Savior on November 11, 2010. She was born April 28, 1951 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Doris GP Fleming Greely and the late Walter Alvin Fleming. She was a lifelong resident of New Jersey and attended schools in the Newark Public School system. She relocated to Richmond, Virginia, in 2006, where she was employed by and retired from the United States Postal Service. She leaves to treasure her memory her children, Adrianne Fleming, Leonard Fleming, Cornell Fleming, Amina Curry; her sisters, Barbara Mason (Ronald), Diane Young (James); 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; and her longtime friend, Lula Glenn. A memorial service will be held on November 20, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Virginia, 1927 Westmoreland Street, Richmond, Va. 23230.
