Virginia Evans Obituary

EVANS, Virginia H., 98, of Richmond, passed away peacefully November 7, 2010. She was born July 12, 1912 in Charles City County, Va. She is survived by her son, George Coleman Everett and his wife, Miranda, of Richmond; two grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Everett and Kristal L. Ramos of Owensboro, Ky.; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Martha Juba of Philadelphia, Pa. She was the oldest member of Antioch Baptist Church. She had been an Avon representative until the age of 89. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund at Antioch Baptist Church, 103 E Williamsburg Rd., Sandston, Va. 23150.
