The years go by but the memories remain. My thoughts are with his surviving siblings, children and grandchildren. You never get over losing loved ones, you just find a way to adjust.

Time passes so fast and thinking of Warren brings back so many childhood memories. Over the years at my job, I met so many people who went to school with him and they remembered his sense of humor and they all shared their stories of times spent with him. He touched many lives in such a positive manner.

In the years since Warren's passing, I have met quite a few people who remembered him from high school. They revealed a side of him to me that I never knew about, that he was funny, a jokester and made people laugh. It's hard to believe that so much time has gone by since he left us all behind. I speak for myself and my siblings and wish his children, Joyce, and Randy are doing well.

Sharon, I saw Warren's obituary in the paper and was shocked and saddened to see it. Our dads were close, even though their children have not been; but that doesn't mean we haven't kept you in our hearts and memories. My deepest sympathy to you, Randy, Warren's children and grandchildren.

Back in the day....He was a pure joy to be around, his laugh was contagious. As you can see by the remarks of his classmates, he was loved and he will always be remembered.

Warren was always there to listen to my issues and always offered views of caring, loving advice without fail. He always told me he loved me and vice versa. He really was a seasoned veteran of life. I'll never forget his open minded help and solutions. We spent a lot of time together in the last two or three years together and I was always there when he called on me. I will never forget him. He was a great fighter and I am glad his suffering is over. Warren Cooper, Colonial Heights, Virginia

Warren was one of a kind. I remember that when he pledged Sigma Psi he was late for a pledge meeting one time and gave the most hilarious excuse about being abducted by gypsies. It was so funny, he got away with being late. May he rest in peace.

Warren is one of the people I have never forgotten since high school. He was so funny. Kept us all laughing all the time. When he pledged for Sigma Psi, he was late to a pledge meeting and came up with a story (and this was 1964 or so, probably) that he was abducted by space aliens on his way to the meeting. So funny, he got away with it. What a guy! I remember him fondly.

As I told Jesse and Chris this past Sunday, " my four children know who Warren Pace is, my four grandchildren know who Warren Pace is and my great-grandchild will know who Warren Pace is".......he will be missed at the flea but always in my heart........Lloyd Hargrave...Mechanicsville

Joyce, It's been a long time, but I wanted to let you know you and all your family are in my thoughts at this difficult time. I didn't really know Warren but we were such good friends, I did want to send my condolences.
