Xenophon Morris

MORRIS, Xenophon, 78, lifetime Richmond resident, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and two brothers. He is survived by his brother, John Morris (Stella); nephews, Dean Bazaco (Susan) and Mark Morris (Deborah); nieces, Anna Bazaco, Anna Sempeles (John) and Angela Panos (Emanuel); four grandnephews, four grandnieces; and cousin, Pauline Simopoulos. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, retired from the City of Richmond Parks and Recreation and was past president of AHEPA. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with a 7 p.m. Trisagion Service at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Malvern Ave. Richmond, Va. 23221. Interment Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to AHEPA Margioroulos Scholarship Fund, c/o Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
