Ernest E. Ruth

Ernest E. Ruth, age 76, died early Tuesday morning, August 7, 2012, at his home in North Wales, PA. He was born in Norristown, the son of the late Ernest B. and Marion M. Ruth (Grain). He worked continuously thru his lifetime as a wholesale food broker supporting the Tri-State area, maintaining part time employment in this industry until his death. Earnest was a Korean War veteran serving on the USS Amphion in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1958. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale. He was actively involved in many church and community activities during his lifetime He was preceded in death by his first wife, MaryAnn (Gagliano) Ruth and his children, Joseph Ruth of Pittsburgh, Annemarie R., wife of Patrick Thornton of Lansdale, and Christopher E. Ruth, husband of Holly (Woods) Ruth of Starkville, MS. Also survived by his brother, Robert Ruth of Ambler, and Joan's children, Lisa (Perrine) wife of Gary Brown, David Perrine (deceased), Douglas Perrine husband of Lilianna (Jimenez), Rebecca (Perrine) wife of Ian Lewis, Regina Perrine and Daniel Perrine husband of Judy (Chan) and seven grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral mass Saturday, August 11th at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Main Street and Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown. Friends may call at the church Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 10 am. Arrangements by Shelly-Dinan Funeral Home, Lansdale.
