Joseph W. Albanesius

Joseph W. Albanesius, 81, of Skippack, died on October 20, 2013 at Mercy Suburban Hospital. Born July 10, 1932 in Roxborough, he was the son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Lamprecht) Albanesius of Roxborough. He is survived by his loving wife, Grace; his children, Jeffrey, Brett, and Scott Albanesius and Valerie Watkins; six grandchildren, Brooke Harlan, Travis Albanesius, Alexis Ochoa, Lachlan and Zachary Watkins, and Sommer Clark; and three great-grandchildren, Cash and Weston Harlan, and Olivia Albanesius. Joe was a kind and gregarious man who made friends wherever he went. By trade, he was a welder and had a knack for fixing anything. His membership in Steamfitters Local Union 420 spanned 40 years. As an avid outdoors man, he had a love of horses and hunting. Joe and his family enjoyed boating and water sports during their summers at Lake Wallenpaupack for over three decades. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sebastian Riding Assoc., 3589 Water Street Road, Collegeville, PA 19426 or your favorite charity in Joe's memory.
