Mary Jane Kensey of Vallejo passed away at the age of 88 in Vacaville due to a brief illness on September 23, 2010. She was born in Waterproof, LA, on July 23, 1922.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Kensey Sr., and daughter, Betty Reed.
Survivors include her son, Roosevelt Kensey Jr. of Vacaville, CA; daughters, Esther Kensey and Wanda Cohen of Vallejo, CA; granddaughters, Kimberly Clark-Washington of Houston, TX, and Rhonda Fulgham of Conyers, GA; and grandsons, Vincent Kensey of Woodland, CA, and Brandon Cohen of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by five great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Corinthians COGIC, 1101 Benicia Road, Vallejo, CA. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Cooley & Riolo Mortuary, 505 Couch St, Vallejo.
