Mr. McKenna, I'm sorry for loss. The last time I saw Mrs. McKenna and you was 2 years ago at the grocery store with my daughter. I remember how Mrs. McKenna was playing with her as we were talking.

Dear Jim,
I want to express my deep sorrow for you and your family's loss.
I knew Lo, for so long, while employed at St. Pats and will always remember her. She was one of the kindest people I have had the privilege of working with. In fact, I'll always be thankful for the long and warmhearted conversations we had in her office. Furthermore, I certainly won't forget how she always stood by me during the difficult times.
In sum, your loss is a loss to all who knew her. Just know that my thoughts are with you, and I'm sharing in this burden of grief.
With love and sympathy,
Mike Hamernick
