Valentina Ganade, a resident of Vallejo, passed away on Sept. 29, 2010. She was born on July 25, 1921 in Dumaguete City, Philippines.
She worked for Hilton Hotel in housekeeping for 25 years.
She is survived by her sister, Juliana Lim of Cebu, Philippines; son, Mike Kho (Grace) of Castro Valley, Calif.; daughter, Helen Buenviaje (Eduardo) of Vallejo; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to say thank you to the caregivers for their excellent care at the Windsor Vallejo Care Center. Thank you very much indeed.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, with 7 p.m. vigil on Monday at Colonial Chapels, Vallejo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at St. Basil's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Vallejo.
