Memories and Condolences
for Rocco Civiello

Not sure what to say?

It was a distinct privilege to experience Rocco as umpire for local Class A baseball games. We didn't always agree on the strike zone, but he was fair and consistent. We all will miss his comment that we coaches always want to be umpire, too!

Liz and family.
I am so very sorry to hear of Rocky's death. I always enjoyed his straight forward ways: a true Ump! I fondly remember Rocky asking me a question in the middle of one of my Sunday homilies! He was truly one of a kind and I will miss him.
Be assured of my thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

With our deepest smpathy to the family.
He will be missed by many such an Awesome guy. I just want to she this story. When his son Mark was a little guy he played baseball his Dad (Rocky) was Umpire and called Mark out witch Mark did not think he was out. Mark started debating with the Umpire that he was not out and Rocky had to call time out so he could get Mark off the field. I got a kick out of this but poor Rocky probably was embarrassed. When I would see Rocky hear and there I would always think about that day. Our love gose out to all family members

Jeff,

My deepest sympathy on your loss. I will always remember our good times at PHAC. Your poor dad never got to enjoy a game because we had to recruit his services behind the plate. Though I am sure he enjoyed his son protecting him! Such a giving man, I am sure your family is proud to call him dad.
