Frank Burnside Obituary
He was born Dec. 24, 1958, in Lafayette.
He joined the United States Army in 1976, post-Vietnam, and worked as a tank driver.
His marriage was to Kelli Burnside on Oct. 1, 1996, in Watseka. She survives.
Frank was a member of the Earl Park American Legion, and worked as a truck driver for Strausburger and Writz & Yates. He later owned and operated the Main Street Lounge in Kentland for 17 years.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching the Chicago White Sox and Bears, and having a good time.
Surviving are his mother, Alice Beddingfield of Stone Mountain, Ga.; his step-mother, LaVerne "Tooty" Burnside of Sheldon; four children: Blake Burnside of Watseka, Brittany Burnside of Rensselaer, Eric Osborne of Watseka and Joshua Chadd of Gallatin, Tenn.; two sisters: Michelle Burnside of Kentland and Laura Leah Cobb of Momence; two brothers: Mike Burnside of Oklahoma and Don (Tammy) Burnside; one granddaughter, Rosslyn Cochrum; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Burnside; one brother, Bobby Burnside; and one sister, Debbie Burnside Walker.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. CDT Friday at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home in Kentland and also for close family and friends from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. CDT funeral services Saturday, also at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Earl Park American Legion or the American Lung Association.

I love/miss u daddy words cant explain...It hasnr been that long since u went on to heaven to continue riding a HARLEY-DAVIDSON whem my time comes i will be by ur side riding with u having a good time...i will never forget how happy u was when u found out and the whole term of my pregnantcy makes me smile when i think of it or ur face with the biggest smile just talking bout ur first grandaughter Rosslynn she looks at the pictures of u and says "papa and rossie" its so cute but makes me cry in a sad/happy way...will be thinking of you and will do our daily talk muah love u soooo much...love always daddys little girl AKA Claire Bear and ur one an only grandaughter Rossie:) muah muah xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Frank was a very special man with the biggest and kindest heart of anyone I have ever met. Anyone that was fortunate enough to have their heart touched by him will hold the greatest memories of all. Loved and missed dearly....a special friend
